Pixelmator 1.6 Released (Mac)
When people ask for a recommendation for a good image editor for the Mac, many will just tell you Photoshop is the way to go. Well Photoshop is a great app, but for many of us it is just overkill and too pricey for the needs we have. One of my personal favorites is Pixelmator, and today they have released the v1.6 update. Pixelmator is an image editor for the Mac that offers many of the features of way more expensive counterparts such as Photoshop. Layers, blendingmodes, filters, slicing….it is jammed packed with features.
The 1.6 update bring several improvements and features including:
- 64-bit support
- Layer groups
- Import feature
- Flickr, Facebook, Picasa support
- Improved transform tools
