Windows 10 Technical Preview Now Available

  Yesterday, Microsoft unveiled Windows 10, the next version of the Windows operating system and today the Technical Preview is available now from the Windows Insider Program.  The Technical Preview gives users a chance to download and use an early build of Windows 10. “With the Insider program, we’re inviting our most enthusiastic Windows customers to shape Windows 10 with us. We know they’re a vocal bunch – and we’re looking forward to hearing from them.   The Windows Insider Program is intended for PC experts and IT pros who are comfortable using pre-release software with variable quality. Multiplicity 3 Available with Virtual KVM Capabilities

Multiplicity 3 has been released on the new Edgerunner store, and offers users a way to control multiple PCs with just one keyboard/mouse, and the new virtual KVM capabilities expand that even further. “Multiplicity v3’s new KVM capabilities allow users to view up to nine PCs’ displays as active thumbnails on a single monitor, switch between them using a mouse click or hotkeys, and control them all with a single keyboard and mouse. Official 500px App Released for Windows 8

Another high-profile app for Windows 8 launched today which is the official app for 500px.  If you are not familiar with 500px, it si a popular photography site where you can upload and display your photos with a great looking layout and numerous sharing features. Swiping through the app you can see popular and featured photos on 500px, along with notifications for your own account and integrates so you can see the image flow from people you follow on 500px. Zinio Magazine App for Windows 8 Updated with Performance Fixes

Zinio is at the top of the list when it comes to digital magazines, and they have apps for just about every popular platform.  The Windows 8 modern app has been out for a while, but one of the past updates broke parts of the app and made it difficult to use. I noticed an update today in the Windows app store for Zinio and was glad to see the performance issues were addressed.  I’ve been reading some magazines today and haven’t had any issues, so if you were having trouble before, be sure to give it a try again.
