1Password 5 for iOS 8 Released and Goes Free

AgileBits has released 1Password 5 for iOS 8 today, and they have made the app free to new customers.  They have moved to a freemium model where you can purchase the Pro features for $9.99, but if you are an existing 1Password 4 customer, you will get the upgrade with Pro features for free. This update brings: TouchID support Safari integration App extensions Wi-fi sync with extensions and more The free version will allow users to generate secure passwords, create and edit various login, and more.  The Pro version will add additional features such as multiple and shared vaults, automatic sync, additional categories and more. I like to cook and I like to explore and find different recipes to make for my family.  There are so many sites and blogs out there with delicious recipes you almost have to have an app to keep them all saved and organized.  I’ve used several and never really found one I liked enough to keep.  Most were trying to do too much when all I was looking for was a simple way to collect and organize recipes.  I discovered Paprika a few months ago and have been using both the iPad app and the Mac version. Pinterest iOS App Gets Updated with Pinning Shortcuts

The Pinterest app for the iPhone and iPad was updated today with a new pinning shortcut feature.  By holding down any pin in the app, you then get a new menu which fans out giving you the ability to slide your finger to an icon.  From there you can pin, like, or send that pin with a quick action. Microsoft has released a huge update for OneNote for iPhone and iPad users, and an update for Android devices.  OneNote is one of the best note-taking apps out there, and with versions for iOS, Windows Phone, Android, and Windows, it’s a tool you should seriously consider using if not already.
